Have you ever caught a glimpse of something so beautiful, so good, so full of love and healing that it shifted the way you saw the world? A moment that felt like a window into the Kingdom of God—something so true, it helped you understand what Jesus meant when He spoke of His vision for us? And yet, not long after, you’re pulled back into the realities of our world—pain, division, war, sickness, heartbreak. It’s easy to feel discouraged, wondering how we’ll ever reach that vision of peace, love and joy. Everyday, we sit with that tension—the “already and the not yet”. Drawing from this week’s Gospel, we’re reminded to keep striving toward what we’ve only glimpsed, but deeply believe is real. We’ve seen it in moments of healing, in love freely given, in the transformation of brokenness into abundance. And we remember that with God, our humble gifts become more than enough. And in Him, we are enough—for a world crying out for hope and healing. So today, Father Pat McGrath invites us to become just that: a Field Hospital of Hope to help heal the world.
