Have you ever looked at someone in your life and thought, "We’re just too different to work together?" In today’s episode, we’re reminded that Jesus doesn’t call the obvious pairs—He calls the willing. Just as He called Peter, the impulsive fisherman, and Paul, the fiery intellectual, He continues to call each of us—flawed, unique, and gifted in different ways—to be part of His work in the world. So take a moment to consider: Is there someone in your life—at work, in your community, in your church—who brings a perspective or skill set unlike your own? Don’t shy away from those differences. Embrace them because were never meant to do this work alone. Justice, peace, and dignity require community—people who challenge, complement, and complete one another. When we collaborate across our differences, we become stronger together than we ever could be apart. Today, Father Ed Foley invites us to become a mountain range of justice—not by being the same, but by rising together in all our God-given differences.
