When it comes to communicating with our family members, friends, co-workers, or even strangers, how many of us find it so much easier to say or write our part compared to the challenge of thoughtfully listening and even trying to understand the other person's statements? Sometimes, we might start to formulate a response in our head before the other person is finished talking and completely miss what they said. Could this be the case even with the word of God? Are we actively listening and seeing everything that is there? In today's sermon, Fr. John Cusick reminds us that by receiving Jesus, He will lend us a new set of eyes that will allow us to take our understanding of Jesus as The Bread of Life to a deeper level.
